SPD Support Group Welcome!

Dear Parents/Teachers/Administrators/Therapists:

Hello! My name is Mary Gardner and I’m the mother of an 9 year old boy who has had sensory issues. We have been through many trials and difficult times understanding what his needs are and now I feel like we’ve got a great handle on his issues and I’m happy to support other families who are struggling to learn how to accommodate their son or daughter.

I would like to invite you to start your own group hereunder GROUPS for local resources, support meetings and information.

Please forward this site and information on to any parent who has a child who has Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), ADHD, ADD, is on the AUTISM SPECTRUM or is a bit out of the box and you’re just a bit in the dark about what to do to help.

Daughter with SPD too sensitive to wear socks or underwear

My daughter is 4 and can't stand wearing underwear or socks. We've tried different styles and sizes of underwear even boys. Was wondering if anyone has the same problem and if they make seamless socks for children?
