Check out CARD - Center for Autism and Related Disabilities

We just hosted Terri Daly from CARD at University of Central Florida last night and heard about their amazing organization that is supported by State funds. They do education for docs, teachers , administrators, etc.. are a resourse for families with kids on the spectrum and have workshops and training for families, etc..

I was very impressed that Florida has these services avail. and apparently most states have funded programs for kids on the spectrum. Not for SPD specifically, but many of these SPD kids are actually on the Autism spectrum.
