SPD Parent Support

Hey All! When we started really paying attention to what my son eats... the white breads, the high fructose corn syrup that is in EVERYTHING and we stopped doing these plus we started doing fresh foods and limited preservatives.. we saw a HUGE change! We were able to modify his meds from 30 mg. down to 10mg. Also, we got him tested for allergies and found he had an allergy to eggs, so that was now off the list. We added vitamins Omega 3, 6, 9, a neurotransmitter support and also something to rid him of the yeast in his system.. (we did it thru a medical doc/homeopathic doc- Dr. Kirti Kalidas) and it improved his behavior a TON. We've also tried the no glutten/no casin diet.. it's difficult to adjust to, but it also works WELL!!!

Hi Mary,
What did you use to eliminate the yeast? I keep reading about Threelac on the internet. Glad to hear you had a good experience with Dr. Kalidas. That's our next pitstop with Katherine.

Hi Renee:
I will have to check out Threelac.. Jeremy is on Candanise for yeast. From what I hear, if you clear up the diet thru the No Glutten/no casin diet (which is SOOOO hard) that it helps a TON but if you go back and they eat sugar, etc.. then the yeast grows right back and FAST. This must have been what happened to Jeremy as we got lazy about his supplements and he slipped back into NO attention span and I know it's the diet. It's a constant battle and struggle for sure. We're pooped with it.. but will never stop!!! He's worth it!
