DVD for Teachers- Learn to Manage SPD kids while helping ALL of the kids!

Stats show that 5% of kids now have SPD and 35% of these kids are GIFTED. But. they have inattention or other signs of SPD. If you are a TEACHER who has a child in your class with behavior issues, you can integrate exercises INTO your classroom that will help ALL of the kids focus. Instead of them having circle time sitting up, have them lay on their bellies, thus they have to exercise the brain stem. There is a video on available under RESOURCES that can be purchased for your school so your teachers can integrate exercises for ALL of the kids, thus not having to slow down or stop because of one or two kids who have behavioral issues It was created by Sandra Wainman, OT and founder of Lifeskills Center in Winter Springs FL.

As a teacher, I thank you for this resource. I look back in my years of teaching prior to having knowledge of SPD and clearly better understand some of my students who struggled and who had "something" going on. Now as a mother of a child with SPD, I am experiencing the challenges that go with the school system's lack of knowledge and training regarding SPD. Thank you for sharing.
