Hi All,
I thought some of you might have an interest in these sites or perhaps passing them along.
The first link is the website for the film, “Autistic-Like: Graham’s Story” -
http://www.autisticlike.com/ . The site and the trailer are beautiful and Erik Linthorst has done a wonderful job explaining what I have bumbled and stumbled around for years trying to do. I ordered the DVD yesterday. There are 3 versions of the DVD – home use, independent professionals and the educational version. The site also has some great resource links. I have viewed it and posted a review of the film at:

Another link is:
Model Me Kids: Videos For Modeling Social Skills. They have some wonderful and reasonably priced videos that target skills for kids on the spectrum. We are using the Friendship, Conversation Cues and Tips & Tricks Videos. The videos are of kids who explain and demonstrate the techniques. Marissa really likes them. They have a new release coming out in July – for Confidence -
http://www.modelmekids.com/bully.html that we’ll be picking up as well. You can follow Model Me Kids on Twitter -

Marissa had a dinner date with her maternal grandmother last night. This was their first time alone together. Marissa was nervous about it, so we took advantage of the Model Me Kids Social Skills videos to practice what we learned for her dinner date. It was a huge success and she had a great time -- I was so happy for her.
Finally, there is an excellent site on games that engage young children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in Play. This site is created by Tahirih (pronounced “Tahara”) Bushey, a Speech & Language Pathologist who, in addition to her clinical practice in working with kids on the spectrum, also has a hobby of collecting games that parents can play with young children who have ASD. Her site is loaded with information, games that adults can play with their kids and video modeling of the game techniques. Her site is:

Many Blessings,
Craig
